I don't know if this is a stupid question or what, or if it's been asked before But is it possible to put a 1.8 HGT engine into a 1.2 8v Punto? The 1.2 is a relativley new car, and im seeing this as a cheaper option than buying a whole new HGT. Any help is great. Liam.

Been to test drive this one today 54reg Punto HGT 25k miles here Its on forcourt at £6500 can be had at internet price of £5000 though. Been offered £1000 part exchange on my Punto Sporting 2000 reg. I went for 1.9 HGT because of the long gear ratio, 70MPH at 2,100 rpm.
