Do I have to follow the story line to for Arkham City to follow Arkham knight? It’s best to play arkham city and to complete it then play arkham knight then you will be all caught up. As Arkham knight takes place a few months after city. These are really the only two games that matter in the timeline honestly.

The gameplay, art direction and story are top notch. For me the ambience of City is just better than the other ones for some reason.
